“ROTAX 125 Evo engines legal for use in TAG classes”
August 27, 2023 – Continuing to grow the Southwest Regional Cup Series (SWRC), series officials are
pleased to announce RTX USA Group as a new partner. Effective immediately, ROTAX 125 Evo engines
will be legal for use in TAG Junior and TAG Senior.
“We are excited to welcome RTX USA GROUP, the Official ROTAX Karting distributor in the southern
USA, and ROTAX as a series sponsor,” explained Jay Kleinheinz. “ROTAX has proven to be a strong
program around the world and their Grand Finals event is one of the biggest and best karting races in
the world.”
RTX USA Group is the ROTAX distributor for the Southern portion of the United States and the promoter
for the growing ROTAX Winter Trophy. Utilizing its partnership with the SWRC, RTX USA GROUP is
looking to expand its dealer network, increase the presence of the ROTAX brand in its geographical
region, and support the karting within North America.
Kleinheinz continued, “We thank Julieta Fernandez and the complete group at RTX USA GROUP for their
support and we look forward to welcoming ROTAX racers at our upcoming event at the Oklahoma
Motorsports Complex in September and Dallas Karting Complex in October.”
